Sept info

Our next group ride is scheduled for Saturday, September 25th to Amish country.  We will make a couple of planned stops for lunch and to sample some cheeses and chocolates.  This would be a good ride to bring a passenger.  Let’s see how many two-up riders we can get to participate.   Details will be posted on the motohiorats web site.   Our next RAT Pack meeting will be Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 6:30 at Motohio.   Regards,   Larry Laskorski

MOTOHIO Open House

To all Motohio RAT Pack Members:   If anyone would like to volunteer to assist with the Triumph Demo rides on Friday and Saturday, please phone Ann Allen at Motohio (614) 759-6866 or email her at annie@motohio.com.  We need experienced riders to lead and sweep the demo rides.     Volunteers should plan to meet at Motohio each morning (time to be determined) to receive a safety briefing from the Triumph representatives responsible for the demo truck and to participate in a ride to learn the route before the demo rides begin.

Thanks,   Larry Laskorski

The Dragon Raid

This is a grassroots Triumph rally that Joe’s Cycle RAT Pack is organizing for this fall in the Smoky Mountains, September 13-19. Although they are targeting Triumph enthusiasts, you don’t have to be riding a Triumph. It is open to everyone. This will be a week of great rides, entertainment and great food. You do not have to be there all week, however they will be there all week and would love to have company. The main event nights are Friday and Saturday.   Check the Dragon Raid website ( www.TheDragonRaid.com ) for info on the event.

The Triumph Secret is out

Just got a tip from one of our Triumph insiders. Check out the Triumph release below.

WE’VE GOT A SECRET TO TELL YOU!

We’ve got two new, and very different, motorcycles heading your way for 2011.  To build maximum leverage on these dual-sport models, we launched an exciting new teaser campaign today!

First, we’ve started building global anticipation via a customized count-down microsite: TriumphAdventure.com.  Go check out the video now, and then sign up for the newsletter so you can see exactly what your customers are asking about.

In conjunction with the new microsite launch, MCN has released spy shots of these new dual-sport motorcycles in today’s issue.  The two bikes are distinctly different and the spy shots show one bike being ridden up and down and off-road trail, while the other machine was captured on a handling and high speed course.
